Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement

As part of our commitment to reconciliation and inclusion, we acknowledge that Thrive Together Mental Wellness Centres operates on the traditional and unceded territories of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation in Ottawa and the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe Peoples in Kingston. We recognize the enduring presence and contributions of Indigenous Peoples to this land and pledge to honor their histories, cultures, and rights. This acknowledgment serves as a call to action for meaningful collaboration and reconciliation in support of Indigenous communities.

Our clinic is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment for all. We believe that diversity enriches our community and strengthens our ability to provide compassionate, evidence-informed care. We celebrate the unique identities, experiences, and perspectives of every individual and value how our similarities and differences in race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability, socioeconomic status, or cultural background shape and impact our lived experiences. As a clinic, we aim to offer justice-centred health care.

Our mission is to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors feels seen, valued, respected, and supported. We do not always get it right and are committed to partnering with you to explore how things can be made better. We strive to address systemic barriers to mental health care by creating accessible services, advocating for equity, and continuously learning how to better serve our diverse communities.

Together, we are building a space where everyone can explore, be well, and thrive.
